That is a beast of a torque arm. They should make it with a front slider though instead of the pivot

Yes its a monster compare to their standard torque that i've previously used in the past. I should have bought this one from the start!

I would be interested in what it weighs compared to your old standard torque arm. When is that really needed? I suppose it does happen, but you don't hear of guys busting torque arms very often.

It weighs a little more, but not much. It's chromoly instead of mild steel and that extra weight won't really matter much. Heck, I already have a heavy *** S60,lol.

I just installed mine along with some traction bars. Went in pretty good, setup is easy. I used a samsung app and my phone to set the angle. My T56 and rear are a bit messed up so i cant test it to its full potential. I did notice wheel-hop is gone. Be sure to tighten the 4 mounting bolts provided or you will get a klunk during acceleration and deceleration.

Spohn makes some decent stuff, the lack of a slider style front attachment is the only aspect that I don't care for.

Therefore, IMO.... Madman still #1

Yeah, I wasn't too worried about it adding weight, I was just curious what that beast weighs compared to a standard torque arm. I hear you on the S60. Post a picture of underneath the car when you get it bolted in.

Spohn makes very decent stuff. Which is why i don't get why these torque arm manufacturers believe in using a 'pivot' on the front of the arm which changes the front angle of the torque arm as it moves. Isn't it funny that the Madman arm is still working off of the standard GM principle! .. just a more solid and direct way of doing it and a shorter arm. I guess that's why he's a madman

I just saw the other day that BMR has released a bolt in short arm with the slider on the front instead of the pivot. I guess they finally decided to go crazy also and copy how the GM engineers setup the front of their torque arm since the 1980's.

Our TA012/TA014 is a pretty well rounded piece for a street strip car

However for a higher powered track oriented cars that need ultimate strength and light weight, I prefer our XTA001 which has its own crossmember that welds into the subframe connectors or floor bars of the cage that way it puts the load directly to the chassis of the car instead of the floorpan

Company's use a multi hole pivot link because it gives more adjustment to achieve things such as an ideal pinion angle and instant center. Not all vehicles are the same and limiting yourself is never a good idea in the performance world. As for a pivot link moving changing settings, it's movement is less than you'd think.

Nice piece I just figured I'd respond to the questions about using a pivot link.

Thanks for the clarification Kevin, or Eric. Btw, I just installed your anti roll bar as well. It's a very nice piece and very light. Thank you.

Did you install the bolt-in or weld in mwc anti roll bar?

I have their bolt in. Very easy install. I chose the bolt in for proper bracket placement.

Awesome, thanks for the pics! I needed some good pics of the install. I'm ordering the bolt it version since I can't weld soon as this racing season is over.

Have you you set it up and ran the car yet?
