Did you cut those round holes? That is what I am thinking about doing so my front end will look better, I was just concerned about the structural integrety of the front end. Let me know if my conserns are unfounded. Thanks.

Default Styrofoam in front end?

What if any purpose does this serve? Anyone know how much weight removing this saves?

1st yes I did cut the holes in the bumper. I thought about it and I'm sure it makes it weaker but I rationalized some are going with out. It my hurt strength about 5%. I used medal cutting blades in a jig saw. 2nd Yup that is a fully functional scoop. It approximately 15 wide X 4 1/2 tall. Sealed all the way back to the bottom of the air box. There are more photos on the home page.

What kind of weight savings did you get?

If anything it might have added less than a pound. I'm hoping I will get a gain in HP at the track. I put the holes in the bumper so air would flow to the radiator after all I did block a lot off. So far I have not over heated but I only have idled in the garage.
