Default What to adjust for best 60 ft?

This was my first time at the track with 28" bias plys. This was a 4k rpm dump and netted a 1.74 60. I'm thinking the LCA need to go down one hole but I'm still new to adjusting suspension. What do yall think?

What is the current setup? What parts do you have and where is everything set?

One of the best purchases I made were double adjustable front shocks with springs. This allowed the weight to transfer to the rear.

Vikings are on the list of things to buy but it's going to be a while before I can afford them. I'm just trying to make what I've got work for now.

Control arm adjustment on relocation brackets are relative to ride height sometimes going to low can cause the same affect as being to high I would try setting your pinion angle to -1.5 to -2.0. What was your tire pressure set at?

i've never tried them with stock shocks, but even with my adjustable ones i am thinking i have to run less than 13 psi for mine to hook good.

Tires were at 16. Lowering them to 15 didn't change anything.

You think 4k rpm may have been too high?

strange looking launch. It separates the tire from the body, but doesn't look like it wrinkles the tire at all. Mine wrinkles the hell out of the tire on a 6000 rpm launch. 4000 rpm is a total bog for me. Im not sure whats going on for you, but it seems like it isn't transferring weight to the rear tires. Could be bad shocks, could need an lca adjustment also. My car seems to like the bottom hole of the lca brackets, but im on a 26" tire also.

Went ahead and checked over the rear suspension again. I found it wasn't square so I got that fixed. I also lowered the lcas to the bottom hole. I would think if a 26 inch tire liked it, a 28 would like being hit hard even more. We'll see what happens.

Oh, I got the pinion angle corrected too.

Went to the track again last night with the above settings. At 13.5 psi, I couldn't launch it hard enough. I was launching at 4500, 5000, 5500 rpm and it would get at least a small amount of bog no matter what. I think MidwestChassis was right and I'll be moving the control arms back to the middle hole. The rear was separating from the body pretty well. Looks lik there was too much AS

What power are you making?

I have 550whp on my 6 speed. QA-1's set up at 2 from full soft up front and 2 from full hard in back. I dump the clutch at 6,500 with a 2 step rev limiter.

Went to the track Friday with a fresh mail order tune from Moe Baily. This one drives a hell of a lot better than the pcmforless tune and the butt dyno shows hp gains. Unfortunately, I got a flat tire as soon as I got to the track so no passes yet.

dumping the clutch wont always net you a good 60'. try an aggressive slip if you have a clutch that can handle it.

Picked up a few new parts the other day. Got some Strange single adjustable rear shocks and a UMI drag bar. The car has been darting to the left on launch so the bar should help 60ft some. I don't think I'll see much improvement from just rear shocks right now though. Front viking coilovers are in the near future but I got a good price on these parts so I had to jump in them. What do you guys think?
