Post your best 60' on radials
My 01 Z28 cut 1.84, 1.86, and a 1.87 last weekend on Michelin pilots. Its the best I have ever seen. All three passes where 12.9 at 106. This Yank SY3500 is a bad ****. Car is completely stock except for converter, muffler, and K+N filter, including suspension and yes the front sway bar is still on.
Can anyone beat a 1.84????

Of course he now lives in VA or somewhere out there. But THAT is impressive.
I pull the wheel off the ground real good on GSC's not GSA's impressive none the less though. The only mods to my suspension is LCA's and !swaybar!, stock wheels with the interior intact. I can pull this off consistantly at three different tracks local here, ATCO, E-Town and Cecil. I have a way that I leave the line that I don't think anyone has tried before? I can bring my witnesses in here if you want to hear from them. . Doc, I built my car to be a wringer, I specifically matched all the components just to prove a point that you can use brains instead of brawn to run a good ET. I have 407 flywheel horse, and I use 404 of it in the quarter mile which gives it it's "wringer" destinction. For an example, you can have an M6 car with 467 flywheel horse and use ony 400 horse in the quarter mile. Its all about hooking and overall torque/horsepower averages over the distance.

Kent, No offence, but I believe Doc was asking for REAL street radials meaning no Drag radials.

I myself cut consistent 1.97 to 1.94s on the Yokos !
i also believe if you stick with any tire long enough you learn how to luanch and what it will hold.. so im sure some guys are cutting 1.6's on radials!
