Trmin8r 2.0!
Trmin8r 2.0! Some may remember me. My last f body was a white 01 SS. Had a bunch of different setups over a span of about 8 years and got fed up with it and sold it back in 2011. Best pass in it was 9.2x on radials.
I recently bought a 99 z28 and have completely gutted it and am currently awaiting a donor car that should be here middle of next week. The goal with this car is to build it as light as possible and make it as efficient as possible since I won't be making a ton of power. It will be a 6 speed nitrous car.
Donor car is a 99 z28, m6, motor is an sbe ls1 with ported stock heads, ms3 cam. Rear end is a moser m9 with 4.10s in it. All of that will be swapped into my shell pretty soon. Need to get a k member, nasty performance fuel tank, complete fuel system, wheels/tires, and all of the interior stuff. Also planning on using the holley efi.
Not sure on the nitrous setup yet. Been looking at direct port or maybe a holley hi ram with a plate.
I'll try to get some pics up soon. Not sure what to expect, but I'd like for it to run pretty deep in the 9s.

I need to do a search and see what I can cut out of it. I'm gonna use the vfn dash and some kind of lightweight steering shaft too. I'm thinking about getting the bolt in 6 point moly bar from Wolfe. I had their steel one back in the day and it fit perfectly and the powdercoat looked badass. It'll see a little bit of track time but mainly street time so I don't want that bar by my head that a 10pt would have .

Well looks like I jumped the gun on the nitrous lol. Gonna go with turbos actually. Just got the donor car yesterday and will start working on it soon. Probably gonna go with 317 heads and a custom turbo cam.
Also gonna mod the stock plastic fuel tank to either run twin 450s or maybe a single magnafuel. Will update with pics as I go.
