Parts list to replace steering wheel?

Parts list to replace steering wheel? My buddy is gonna be ditching his steering wheel on his 01 soon. Besides the wheel itself, what other parts are needed? What year hub adapter do we need? What will we have to modify? Any install tips or tricks? BTW, the steering wheel now has radio controls. Thanks.

Re: Parts list to replace steering wheel? Standard steering wheel puller from autozone, advance, etc works fine. should be $12-$15. One of those 'universal' pullers will work to pull the wheel as well.
You need a wheel and adapter, and add a 2OHM resistor to your list to get rid of the air bag idiot light on the dash.

Re: Parts list to replace steering wheel? I put a billet specialties wheel in my car and used their '97 non-airbag adapter (on their recommendation), It went on w/ no problems, and fits great.

For the swap itself...there isnt much too it. Most of its been covered. Standard steering wheel puller from parts store, wheel adapter. You need a Torx 25 (maybe a 27) bit to remove the airbag. On the back side of the wheel you'll feel two holes. The torx bolts are tucked up in there.

Re: Parts list to replace steering wheel? Ive seen them sell on ebay for just the wheel for $50 or so... I just never get the auctions in time lol. Im just wanting to add steering wheel controls...got all the parts needed but the actual steering wheel.
