This was done for a 99 Cobra, but I'm sure you could do something similar for a 4th Gen F-body. Very easy, light, and cheap.

The cables worked fine on ours, i just removed the red and black rubber covers, and used some small, short bolts that fit the threads of the battery with some washers.
I also use some aluminum flat bar i had laying around to make a hold down.

Hawker = Dynobatt at a lower price. Get it. Either will work fine in daily drivers, but do NOT leave anything on with the engine off. They have very little reserve, and even a low-power stereo will run it down in a hurry.

Aluminum deck strapping from Home Depot - bent, painted satin black and a couple of sheet metal screws - maybe $5 tops and only a few ounces. No adapters needed - take off the rubber boots and bolt them right on!
Best $/lb weight mod there is - $50 to take off 25lbs!

$35 for the EP-13 plus shipping - was $50 to my door. You don't need the posts, just remove the rubber boots and bolt the cables directly onto the battery with the supplied bolts and a couple of small washers. Works like a champ!
