Default Vain Drag Tire Size

Ok so I know this is stupid but im curious on what the rule of thumb requirements to move from 26" to 28" drag radials are without hurting ET. I have Hoosier DR2 275/50r15 and they just dont fill the wheel well very well. Id like to move to a 28" tire but dont want to hurt my time. What type of power and gears would be a good target to hit before making the size increase?

Again, I know this is a stupid thing to care about and I am more worried about my ET than the wheel well, but i plan to do H/C upgrade so maybe by the next time I need to by tires I might look at 28" if it makes sense.

I feel your going to stay n/a most people go with a 4.10/4.11 ratio with a 28" tire. I said most now, sometimes your particular setup may need something depending on how you track your car and shift points and such.

I thought about that too. My headers hang pretty low and I'm not a huge fan of the lowered look
