As for your other question bring up the rpm's a bit more but when you go at first just release the brake let it roll out and then squash it.It almost sounds like it would make you slower but my freind does just that everytime at the track and in stock form with street tires he's pulled 1.8 to 1.9 60 ft. Practice it before you go so you'll get comfortable. But rolling out like you just taking off aggressive at a red light in town then get it moving and give it hell you should be fine.

Also do you have a hpp3?

Boykinmustang, no HPP3 unfortunately.

Ok, I just got back from the track. I made 5 passes and I watched the tach carefully. So I was wrong. Sorry to stir everyone up. I'm not at 6,000rpms in third near the line. I JUST hit 3rd actually and I was at about 4,00 rpms.

It was only 46 degrees at the track (milan dragway in michigan) and it wasn't prepped well at all. Needless to say, I got horrible traction. At one point I just cut off the run and finished up with a 16.5 @ 65mph. Here was my best today:

Reaction: .937 (sleeping <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> )
60' 2.390
330' 6.069
1/8 9.018 @ 83.8
1000' 11.546
1/4 13.698 @ 105.12

I've heard that you take .2 off your ET for every .1 you cut off the 60'. If that's true, I think I can be around 13 flat. I need to improve my launch or just cough up some $$$ for Nitto DR's.

I meant to say that I was at about 4,600 rpms. You guys were right. It was the 2-3 shift.

Ive run my best with it in od(4). With it in d(3) your running the risk of bumping the thing and ending up in 2nd or 1st, which probably wont happen. In od(4) my car shifts out of 1st and 2nd at 6k rpm and is part of the way through 3rd at the end of the 1/4. If your shifting early or late check your fluid level. The Pcm has 3 sets of shift parameters a normal, hot and another one I cant remember offhand. It may be getting hot if its shifting early to save the transmission.

I just leave mine in od. I'm not going nearly fast enough for it to shift into 4th by the end of a 1/4 Yours is probably shifting into 3rd before the line not 4th

I tried putting it in d for a couple runs and it made no difference.
