Torque converter hands down the best mod. I would try doing both and then get a tune. You are going to need to get a trans tune when you do a converter so it's better to do both and then pay for 1 tune

With that big of a shot I would call and have a converter made for your setup.
I know with the SS 3600 you can spray a 150.
The problem with non dedicated nitrous converters is when you get into bigger shots you will push threw the converter, blow threw it, and bounce off the rev limiter.
