Change your tire pressure up to 22. I've never had luck with the pressure lower than this unless track prep was phenomenal.

F monster I'm glad you brought that up. At 20 it seamed hook quicker after it quit spinning. Almost dead hooking.

I have always ran them 18-22. Most times more air pressure yielded better results for me.

How much burnout are you doing. For me, those tires liked a decent first burnout and every other pass just clean the tire off. No John Force showboating required.

Ironman ls1 they are new tires only 6 passes. Never done a water box burn out with them. I just powerbrake for second to clean them. Could you describe your burn out procedures

First burnout should be a good 5 or 6 second burn. Sounds like your not getting them hot enough.

So first burn out of day. Back in water get tires wet pull up and burn them off for 5 seconds. Then just clean them up. I've always heard if they have tread not to get in water.

Don't do a burnout in the water regardless, just want to get them wet and pull ahead out of the water box. And it shouldn't be a standing puddle you are in rather just wet burnout box. Otherwise you are doomed to coat your wheel wells with water and it will drip back down causing you to spin - regardless of slick or street tire. First burnout I get some heat in them until they smoke a little and bite. As mentioned 5 sec should be plenty. After than just a quick one to clean the tires off. At least that is what worked for me and with this tire. I have a Nitto 555R now and they are way different than the MT.

Don't confuse these tires with street tires, they are not, different compound, different tread.

I ran my Et streets at 18 psi. Do a burnout until they start smoking then roll out. If you still can't hook, do a longer burnout.

Only time I'll go up in pressure is when the track is killer. Raising the pressure makes it harder for the tire to take the hit.

I would start by lowering the boost, a way to control it over time. Radials don't like to get hit with full power out off the hit. Power management is key to getting a radial to work.

Secondly, what is the rear gear, and first gear ratio of the trans?

By first click on the shocks do you mean 50/50? Verify that.

My setup was very similar to yours not long ago.

Are you running a stock rear end? Stock springs? Stock torque arm?

I'd move the LCA to the middle hole and see what happens, then be prepared to bring the torque arm down on the cross member.

Raising the nose of the torque arm and having the LCA in the lowest hole is going to hit the tire the hardest, so you need to back it off somewhere.

Yes first load click 50 50.

First pass tires at 20 psi. Transbrake 3500 rpm launch. It spun and fished tailef then it hooked good. 1.927 60 ft

Second pass tires at 18. Foot brake 1500 rpm 2 step. 50 shot hitting at 3000. Spun alot before it softly hooked.
