Tony,
Since you are not as concerned about streetability now I would yank 300-500 pounds out of that thing <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
K-Member, A-Arms, etc etc
Probably in the low to mid 10s @130mph+ with weight out and good weather <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
Cheers,
Chris
You already bought the trailer so lighten that pig up!

Chris, Mike @ MTI is begging me to leave the car at the shop for a week to put it on a severe diet. I'll consider that when the weather gets cold again. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

9s N/A in a 6-speed possible? Hmmm..... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

But, I still drive this car as much as possible, and I like all of my luxuries. No A/C in Texas is suicide during the summer. I even turn on the A/C on the return road at the track <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

you can take a lot of **** out and leave your AC in <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
I can think of 200+ pounds that could easily be pulled without touching your AC <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Chris

Yes, you have to grind the calipers. Several people here are already running the 10s with no problems.

15x10 with a 7.5" backspacing. 5/16" spacers

currently I have 15x8" w/ 5.5 bs. same spacers. My slicks have about 3" of area that isn't even touched right now because they are too wide for my wheels. That sucks! Only 7 out of 10 inches per side being used.

yeah me too. With the right rim we can run more air pressure (better mph) and get more contact patch at the same time (better traction)

Have a part number on those wheels? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I still have mods to do:

-LS1-EDIT dyno tuning
-chromoly K-member and A-arms
-lightweight glass hood
-15x10 Draglites instead of 8"
-Dynatech 1-7/8" Headers, 3" custom Y-pipe

I think I can hit 130 mph traps without gutting the car. I ran 128.88 mph saturday on one pass.

Its looking like my original goal of 10.50s NA with full weight might be easier than I thought! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Do you have to grind your calipers for the 15x10 inch draglites? How heavy are they?
have a part number? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
I need to do something about my traction issues and I think 10 inch wide rims are the way to go.
Cheers,
Chris

Hi Tony,

Congratulation ........ man that was fast ....... WOOOOOW and with full weight <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

What about if your car was has 3200 lb ??? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> hehehehe I see a very low 10s in this car <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Tony , maybe I missed alot of information about your new set-up , that because I didn't check LS1.tech for a while ..... wish to know what cam did you install ?? and what is the sepc. ??? and what was your best dyno numbers with this engine ??

something else ....... about Dynatech 1-7/8" Headers, 3" custom Y-pipe !!!! are they better than FLP headers that you have ??? I am in my way to get long tube headers , and I am confused , I don't know what to get ...... are this Dynatech 1-7/8" Headers, 3" custom Y-pipe great for 346 c.i. ?? and maybe in future I will go to larger C.I. ..... from where I can get this Dynatech 1-7/8" Headers, 3" custom Y-pipe ??? BTW , what is the size of FLP y-pipe ?? 2.5 or 3" ??

Sorry man for all of this questions , I need some information to help me ......

But let me to tell you , your car is a monster <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Good luck

Abdullah, www.LS1Tech.com/NineBall.html

FLPs are a 1-3/4" primary header, with a 2.5" Y-pipe. Smaller than the Dynatechs.
