Default Would I gain anything?

Right now I have a bigger cam, btr stage 4, yank ss4000 and full bolt ons (stock gears) in my c5. I run a 1.51 60ft 7.15 1/8th mile @93.75mph. Would I gain anything by switching to yanks pt series of converter or could I potentially stay the same or maybe even not run as good? It seems as if I have a strong running combo as is but I'd like to hit 6's cam only

I asked Dave at Yank the same thing with a similar combo and he told me no.

How high do you spin it? You might consider the PT 4400.
I love my PT 4000 and will be switching to the PT 4400 this winter.

Whats your combo, rear gear, and tire size ?

Your 60's better than mine, but your ET is a touch slower.

I would play with your shift points too.

Like I said in my post, stock gears (3.15s) 275/40/17 rear tires, cam only ls1 c5, full weight, stock suspension. Whats your combo? I feel like for my mods its running good just didnt know if switching over to a PT4400 or PT4000 would get me just a bit more and maybe hit 6's cam only

Approx 10.5"x 26" tire....thinking better gearing would help

Tried shifting any lower or higher....6600 been it's best ET/MPH ?

Im not the one that tuned it so messing with shift points is limited for me. I wish switching gears was easy in a c5 I would give that a go as well
