lightning svt vs. t/a ls1

lightning svt vs. t/a ls1 alright to make a long story short..me and a friend got in a arguement about who would win..ill list my mods..i got borla catback,power induction, smooth bellow,eibach prokit,strutbar and b&m shift kit..nothing special i know and this dude has basani exhaust and some sort of chip that he can turn on and off and im not sure but i think he has a filter...i told him that i could take him from a stop...ive already beat a lightning before but not knowing its mods..so what do you htink..is it possible or not..also which is lighter a svt lightning or t/a ...please help cuz this argument needs to be over with wether im right or wrong i just need the answer thanks
which is lighter? lol. christ, you are newb. a stock L weighs 4700lbs + driver and fuel. so 5K lbs easy. if he is stock you will be able to beat him easily (stock L runs 14.0 or so given a decent driver). pulley, tune, air filter and they run 12.90s easily on stock tires. all in the setup. Ls launch very well, atleast as well as most TAs with a decent driver.
ofcourse, you could just quit your talking and race him. you should be able to beat a 5K lbs pickup right?????

oh yea i also heard from a guy who does nothing but works on ls1 thats a trans am weighs more than lightning????? i dont really beleive it consitering everyones told me opposite but what the hell i won so it doesn't really matter when he get the pully maybe ill be worried but for right now i spanked his *** by 2 car lengths so no problem yet
