Car is twisting like a pretzel That's what I was told by someone spotting me at the track. I have been putting off suspension mods long enough. All my power is going into twisting the car and not to the wheels.
I know I will be needing at least LCAs and SFCs at least. Should I also get a torque arm? How will that help? Does brand matter I was leaning toward the BMRs? Any and all input is welcome, thanks <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: Car is twisting like a pretzel Hal shocks on front and back with appropriate settings will assist in car launching straigher in conjunction with the SFC and FTB. A bigger rear sway bar helps to. I am to install one in mine eventually. I am going to install 24 MM one from Suspension Technology purchase from Thunderracing.

Re: Car is twisting like a pretzel Thanks everyone. Originally I didn't want to add the weight and flex was really not much of a problem. ET streets opened up a real can of worms. Isn't traction wonderful? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
SFCs, LCAs, and an air bag are going in ASAP. Are the boxed control arms better for drag racing than the tublar ones?
PS: That pic of the door rubbing the quarter was downright scary <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

Re: Car is twisting like a pretzel The cheapest and quickest way to combat twist is the addition of a right rear airbag. I would try this first as it only cost 25 buck and is guaranteed to keep the car flatter. 15 pounds is a good starting point.
