Race results: Runner up and a Win!

Well, after Thursday and Friday's cam changes.(Everyone at Thunder is great) We were off to the track for a weekend of Drag Racing. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

Saturday: The Hot Rod ran a new best in the 1/8 7.19 @ 96(old pr 7.34 @ 94 at this track). I went to the finals but I red lighted with a 4.81. I had the guy covered, he cut a 564 light and ran 5 off his dail in. I ran right on my dial 7.20. Oh well, Runner up isn't so bad.(kind of like kissing your sister) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />

Sunday: Trevor D drove down from Dallas. It was great to meet him(in person)and have another 02 F-body at the race track. He is a great guy and his Hot Rod huals butt also. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

I went to the finals again. This time I Won! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" /> I cut a 506 light and run a 7.32 on a 7.20 dail in.(I had the other guy covered) Pretty cool don't you think?

In the last 4 times at this track I have won 3 of them and runner up once. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Thanks again to Thunder Racing, they are the best. <img border="0" alt="[hail]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" />

I will be racing at HRP on Saturday, TAD on Sunday and the Texas Motorplex(Ennis Tx) Thursday July 4th <img border="0" alt="[angel]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_angel.gif" />

Congrats Coach! I bet it felt good to be in the winner's circle again. Looks like everything is going well with your Hot Rod. I think it likes the new cam and shiftpoints. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

You weren't leaving much room for error on your opponent's part in the finals were you. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> Congrats on the win! I honestly expected you to take the win with as consistent as the car was running and with the lights you were cutting round after round. It was nice to put a name with the face and to meet Tracy & Brandy as well. We'll definitely have to meet up again for some more bracket action, hopefully on July 4th.

I'm anxious to see how it runs this Saturday at HRP. <img border="0" alt="[Camaro]" title="" src="graemlins/camaro.gif" />
