Default Question on removing rear seats

Ok, I've got the bottom portion of the rear seats out. And also have taken the bolts out on both sides of the upper portion of the rear seat. But what's the best way to get the seat belts off of the rear seat. I was just going to take the bracket off of the seat itself that the belt runs through and then leave all the belts and stuff there, but the bracket is attached with some funky screw that I can't get out.

Any other ides for how to remove this upper portion. And keep in mind I'm just doing this for TOMORROW as I'm going to the track so I'm shedding weight. I want to be able to put the rear seat back in relatively easily and quickly which is why I'm not removing the seat belts themseleves. Thanks a bunch.

we cut a slit in the bracket to slide the seat belt in and out, i went out in the garage and took a picture to show you, hope it works.

I also did the slit method. I ended up taking out the rear belts and don't even both to put them back when I put the back seats in for a show.

I just removed teh Torx screws that hold in the brackets and left them in. Much easier when it's time to put the seat in.

yeah the funky screws you are referring to require a torx bit. Forget what size it was, (35????) but i got a whole set of torx bits along with an adapter that allows you to use them in a 1/4" drive socket rater than a drill for a few bucks at Menards.
