Testing tonight W/O Trans. Brake I went out to our local 1/8 track for some more TnT.I was talking to a few friends and they said that my car should leave harder off of the foot brake instead of the trans. brake.I normally cut 1.46 best and usually 1.48 -1.49 60 foots.
1st pass
1.44 60ft
4.16 330ft
6.46 1/8 et
106.73 1/8 mph car kind of laid down on the top end usually runs 109-110
2nd pass
1.51 60ft spun a little
4.34 330ft
6.73 1/8 et
102.68 1/8 mph really laid down on top end gas gage was a little below the Red Line
3rd pass with 3 gallons of gas added
1.43 60ft
4.15 330ft
6.40 1/8 et
109.39 1/8 mph
4th pass
1.47 60ft spun a little
4.21 330ft
6.46 1/8 et
109.32 1/8 mph
Stock rear end is still hanging in there.
Anybody else get better 60ft times with out using the trans. brake?

That's impressive. What do you think is contributing to the gain? Could it be the converter being able to have more flash that is giving you more of torque spike for the launch?
