Which will go first? Rear or trans?

granted a change the gear oil/tranny fuild like a freak and make sure everything looks good every 6 months or so <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />
I'm talking mid to high 11second passes and I don't live at the track. It is a daily driver.

I wouldnt fidle with the tranny unless it starts to act up. Do the rear so you can cut awesome 60's and not have to worry about busting axles and crap in the stock one. But i would personally just run till something blows. U may have the luck of the draw and nothing could break for a few years!

Look at Terry Burger, John Campbell, Scott Jantzer. 10 sec cars on stock tranny/rear. If your an A6, I would just upgrade the gears. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

That's $625 + that is literally "blown" if the rear goes. This is money that could've simply been used for a 12 bolt.
I'd rather leave it and hope for the best and have $$ put aside just in case.
