ETs or Hoosiers, what sizes???
What size fits on 16x8 take-offs (which I already have)?
How many passes will I get out of ET streets?
How long of a burnout?
The BFGs didn't do very well for me with the ST3500 being the only "major" mod and a pulley and Grots are going on this summer so...
Thanks
Nick

I will probably just go with an ET street.

From what I have read your really need to heat them up good. Some people suggest 6-8 seconds after you see smoke.

They must be trying to compete with John Force because I've never had to burn a set of ET Streets that long to hook! As soon as they start spinning I will count to five. That always worked well for me.
I would not want to drive an hour each way on ET Streets. Once you drive around on them you'll understand why. Your safest and best bet is to change the wheels/tires at the track. JMO

I can't brake them loose. I run 1.72 60 foot.
They will harder after time though...
How many street/track miles can you usually get out of a QTP or slick, etc?
GET A 26X10 HOOSIER SLICK

Just thought I'd jump in and share my experience: I bought the 26x10-16 Hooser Drag Slick and they didn't fit on my car. They were hard up against the rear fascia for my Center Mount Exhaust. I'll be trading them in for ET Streets next.
