How do you do a Burnout w/ M6?
be careful thought.........either the breaks or the clutch need to give eventually, and i stayed HARD on the breaks too long...

Hold RPM at 5000 and drop the clutch, then use your clutch foot on the brake, just hard enough to stop forward motion. Use gas pedal to stay between 5-6000rpm.
Look in mirrors. once you see smoke, count to 10 slowly. Let off gas, stage quickly.
IMO- anyway. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
By the way, I think someone called Thunder Racing has a special on this kind of item. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

While my wife loves the linelock (I installed it because she wanted it), I don't like using it.
I already have to worry about tire pressure, ASR, RPM, lining up in the "tracks", etc, etc. It was just one more chore to do. Once you get good at the "3 Foot Shuffle", it's simpler than the linelock.

But prolly the easier way will be like everyone says. Dump the clutch and put your left foot on the brake right afterwards, but just enough to stop the movement of your car.
If you're not at the track and you don't have any VHT or water then the heel-toe is your best bet.
Peace,
Craig.
