Hey guys, I've seen a lot of conflicting or maybe old information around installing a new TB Cable after removing TCS/Cruise. I purchased the TC-1000LS1 36" cable and had absolutely no issues other than using 2 washers for the firewall. If you have 2 people this shouldn't take you but 20-30 minutes. I've seen multiple people ask how to connect it to the stock pedal. (pic included) In this case i simply used the black retaining clip and left the TB cable alone. No modification to the cable was necessary. On throttle side I have a FAST LS3 102 intake and a NW 102TB. I've seen people say this didn't fit and I personally had no issue at all. I didn't even have to trim the existing cable. I did purchase the fancy billet adapter and wasn't able to get that to work with the FAST due to things not lining up properly. I had to do a little DIY retro-fit with a Lokar universal cable on my 68.
At the gas pedal, I took a 3/8" bolt drilled about a 3/32" hole through the length and countersunk the hole. Then took a cut-off wheel and cut to the center (hole I just drilled) and checked cable fit.
Then placed a nut over the cable, routed the cable through the hole in the pedal, laid the cable in the bolt slot, slipped the bolt in the hole added a drop of blue loc-tite, and tightened the nut/bolt combo....can't fall out
