Default Mickey Pro Bracket Radial

Anyone have experience with these? My local track preps (and I use that in the loosest of terms) for slicks and my ET streets rarely hook. A little internet digging has led me to believe this is the best tire for poor track prep. Just looking for some real world experience before dropping my load on a pair

I use them and my experience has been very good. On a poorly prepped track in my 3800 llb car sixty foot times are 1.40s to 1.50s. On well prepped track in the 1.30s. They feel really stable going down the track and last a long time as well.

Yep, they work well. Not the best on a virgin road, but I can pull the tire if there is a little bit of rubber down. I've done 1.33 on a prepped track. Nothing will beat a slick on a poorly prepped track though

I dont feel like dealing with slicks, I really didnt even want to deal with this aspect of it since now I will have to swap wheels when I want to street drive it. Thank you for the feedback, they definitely sound like they'll do the job for me.

Best tire to run in if you also want no sway. Hook well and drive straight. I drive to track 50miles each way and back home as long as no rain

On crappy tracks you are better off with a bias ply such as Hoosier QTP. They will recover much faster than a radial.When you spin with a radial it will bounce to much and the run is over.

I switched to them. I was going through M/T radials too fast. These seem to be lasting much longer, very stable, 1.34 60', and more consistent. The big plus for me is, I can pull into the "slick" lane at the track on T&T nights (= no waiting) rather than sitting behind 50+ cars .

You switched to Hoosiers or Pro Bracket Radial?

PBR's are the only tire that we run.

Thats awesome!!! My drive to work is only 24 miles round trip and I probably only do it 1 a month in this thing. Time to get some PBR's (and not the beer lol) I see what you did there coach

I tune a f1x fox that has been 1.14 on the pro brackets. Turbo 5.3 fox's been 1.18 - 1.20.
Ive been 1.20 in my camaro on both the pro bracket and et pro. I primarily run the et pro because they let you in street car classes with them.
