It's been in and out a few months now, as far as I know. Some of these setups go very smoothly, some seem to want to do nothing but leak. It's a long learning curve to get the all bore setups sealed properly. Luckily MMS is towards the end of that learning curve. It really takes a lot of professional engineering and experience based tricks to make these more aggressive setups work. I wouldn't have west coast build one for me, if you know what I mean.

You'll have to ask John. He knows a lot more about his car than I do.

If I knew one I would. Laura is 110#, but the car is a little too much for her just between you and me. I'd hate to see it get loose and crash with her in it.

How about a fuel cell? Do they even weigh less then the gas tanks do?

My car is around 2990 to 3010.3140 to 3160 with me in it.
I will still do k-member and arms,pin-on hood.
That weight will be washed with a cage.
M6's are lighter (right?)
I may do the brakes,also.
You can save BIG weight with the hatch though.I heard hatches are around 92#
VFN has a pin on for 16#and what ever the lexan weighs.
Haven't really looked hard at it though.
You won't really save much w/ lca's or PHB.
You could also call Jay Billingsly?
Get that 388 in there.Screw the weight, time to make more power!

Madman has some LCA's and PHB that are 6.5# total (he claims). What do you think stock is, 15# total? I'll try for the crash bars tonight if I have time.

How much do the 98's weigh?

I bet you can save 10lbs with lighter LCA's & PHB. The aluminum would be nice, but I think you'll only save a lb or so over the chromemoly. The tubular BMR's I think are only 3-3.5 lbs each as it is.

The crash bars is a REAL project. You have to cut them out, and the bolts/nuts that hold the sides in are TOUGH to get at.

16# would be nice.. I'm not racing the Z28 until the 28th next, so I have a little time. I should have !catback in place then too, and the car will be on a trailer so I can unload it and start racing before it gets too hot (looks like temp will be in the low 70s). Gunning for your 10.70s Scott.

door bars are a BITCH to get out. i cut up some sockets, and the bolts were still hell to get out. have to be real careful cutting the bars too to keep from hurting the door skin. i would say 5-6lbs. i think Madman posted before saying they were 5.75lbs each if i remember correctly?

you could still cut some the of fiberglass out of the door and the under side of the hatch thats my project this weekend and I am also making a aluminum panel to fit under the steering wheel to get rid of the fiberglass one im hoping to loose 10 more lbs over all but I will settle with 5
