coming from a stang and ls1 owner i love the new cobra, but id rather have a procharged LS1 though <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

if GM had a SC'ed LS1 from the get go im sure the tables would turn the other way <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

the 03 cobra kicks ***, but i will always be a GM man so i care less about there numbers... 11's on a stock motor 346 doesnt seem like a joke to me <img border="0" alt="[hail]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" />

A little off the subject, but I heard that Ford is moving the Mustang platform over to the same platform as the Lincon LS. And, I also heard that they are going to give it the 4.0l engine. So would that make this blown Cobra just a one year deal? If this is true, then good for Ford SVT sending out the 4.6 with a bang.
To keep this drag racing related (and for a BIG laugh) I saw Road & Track got the '03 Cobra to run a stellar 13.3 @ 103 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> , and we know how well they can drive <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[jester]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_jest.gif" />

zrevrun , obviously they can't drive with a 103 mph. They alway's have weak times, I think they tested the ss one time and ran a 14.1...

I want to see an 03 tested with
:
longtubes with Xpipe and dual 3 inch exhaust with race mufflers
lightning pulley
upgrades to the induction side (largeass K&N etc)
computer tuning
94 octane gas.

I bet 450 RWHP would be possible. that would also be a lot of fun on the street!

Hey...if it were easy, I'd do an LS1....but that's a huge can of worms (and $$$$$), so I'll "have" to stick with the 03 Cobra motr. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
