Right. Can see if the other car is drifting my way, can see the tree over the tach, and for some reason it seems easier for me to drive.

sounds good to me.
only reason i can think of for the left lane is that if they rip the timeslip down the middle you get the subjects of whats measured, but most everyone knows those anyway

A true Drag Racer chooses the lane that is hooking the best. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

A bracket racer does not get a choice, cards are drawn to tell you which lane you are in. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />

To be a successful drag racer you have to be able to run out of both lanes. IMO <img border="0" alt="[devil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />

Right lane at HRP seems to hook better. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

If both lanes are hooking good, I always choose the right lane. Always have for some reason. Never pondered why??

Right lane is closer to tree, left lane gives you a better angle on measuring car at finish line when bracket racing. I agree with Coach you better be good in both lanes. PS. I'll flip you and take the lane that you want.hehe Frank95z
