Congrats man that is excellent <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
The lack of traction helped you a bit I am sure with the mph but that is freaking cooking in that DA <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Good job!
Chris

what is raceweight now? Are you still 4.10 gears?

i dont see it as being unreasonable. i just found a timeslip from last year where i ran 99.3 in the 1/8, and 127 at the 1/4

Almost forgot another change was PS bypass. Other three runs were 10.88@125.5, 10.92@126.? (spun), and 13.10@74 (car didn't shift in to 3rd). The 13.10 run had my best 60' of the day @ 1.53.

</font><blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">quote:</font><hr /><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">
127 MPH is just plain sick!!!
Its a race car now but its still 1 of the baddest LS1 H/C setups on LS1TECH.
</font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Thanks. You can call it a race car if you want but I put a lot more miles on that car than you and a lot of other folks put on your "street cars". <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

</font><blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">quote:</font><hr /><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">
127mph is awesome! I have a question for you Terry. Don't take this as a crack, as it is not intended to be... How is your car only running ~98mph in the 1/8th, but blasting up to 127mph on the 2nd half of the track?
</font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">On the run where I didn't lock the converter I ran 98 in the 1/8th and 125 in the 1/4. So a lot of it has to do with the converter lockup, and a lot has to do with my poor 1/8th mile gearing (I shift in to 3rd gear 50' before the 1/8th mark). Also don't forget my Burger ram air and the stealth lid, both of which would benefit 1/4 mph more than 1/8th.

</font><blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">quote:</font><hr /><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">
Ok the mph is really cool but since when does any shop including MMS get props for weight reduction?
</font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Pepper gives MTI credit for his ET's, and he's 150# lighter than I am. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> I think MMS did a great job with the combo and they deserve props. RE: My weight, I think I'm at ~3220# now. Carlsbad doesn't have a scale. The car is still easy to drive on the street (with the catback on).

</font><blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">quote:</font><hr /><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">
Needless to say everyone there was extremely impressed. And yes for the doubters out there Mark from Andy's and I inspected the car and there was no NOS. Although I did here him spraying his Sonoma while dragging his car up the hill
</font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Heh thanks! Next time you guys need to bring some cars out for me to beat on. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> That reminds me for all you sheep out there who said my Sonoma wouldn't tow the Z28, you were wrong, and are morons. I was able to keep 65-70mph the whole trip (~280 miles) even up hills. Glad I never follow the masses. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Yeah, I really wanted to run Terry, trust me. But my rear is still making noises even with the stock gears and I didn't want to leave anything to chance. 12 bolt and LS1 edit are on order and hopefully I'll hit some mid-low 11's at 120+, Mark's LT1 T/A will ready soon too, we'll let you when we go out. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Terry,I mean no disrespect to u.U and I know your car is a race car now.

As for me,I put a 4.30 in my car along with my 28in STREET TIRE last weekend along with the NEW VIG.The car is sooo much fun to drive now.

If I lose a tenth I dont give a rats ***.The car is fun again and with the PS hooked its a hoot on the hwy too.

Looks like u went race and I went to more of a street/strip setup,Kinda ironic?I drive my car probably as much as u drive your camaro.

But I have to say good luck with your car,Its impressive for sure....

Very nice results Terry! About the lockup, when I was running the 700R4 in my car (very briefly) with the T-76, I would typically gain 2-3 mph trap speed just locking it up in 3rd gear, so I can believe his gains for sure.

It's hard to believe you are running the same MPH and better ETs that I was with FI or N2O! Really killer Terry.

OK, I can see the locked up converter being worth some good MPH gains... I used to lock mine in high gear when I still had the 4L60E in the car. I can't remember how much it helped, but it did make a difference...

Anyway, nice job!

Terry do you think the new super lid helped a lot on the big end with your ram air? did you run a filter for all runs?
Cheers,
Chris

I like Mike Morgan's reply LOL!

You only ran fast because you were lined up against Juevos and were just drafting him on one of his 8-second passes.

hehe

Amazing MPH,
2 mph from locking up the verter. Are you still on a ST3800 or did you go to a YTP?
