I'll see if I can get some pictures of just the brackets to come out decent. They're tucked way up underneath the cowl, so I don't know how well they'll photograph...
I also noticed the torque strap. Think it helps any? I had one on my '69 Camaro.

Never saw the fire pics <img border="0" title="" alt="[Embarrassed]" src="gr_emb.gif" /> oh my that doesnt look like fun at all.
One day I may go in and clean/neaten up some, since there is some messy looking stuff under the hood.
For now I'd just rather get the car running right!

The exhaust does not move around and try to bang the floorboard any more, though, and the engine stays in place. The engine does not move with this big stainless steel strap (courtesy of my next door neighbor, Jon). I'm thinking about going to an engine plate sometime in the future and ditching the engine mounts all together.
