I have all three runs on camera but I dont know how to it on here.
The thrid run the oil pan cracked. It is a stock oil pan. And it was letting oil outta the pan pretty quick.

This is Erik Koenig here at the school and just wanted to set things straight about the car. It did break one rod at the top of the track last night as Judson let off going through the lights which is when a rod will usually let go if it's going to due to the extreme increase in vacuum above the piston stretching the rod. Thes rods were the same aluminum rods that have been in the motor from day one and had quite a few passes from 3 years of racing or so and many many dyno pulls as well. It's being fixed as we speak here so that where things are for anyone that want's to know.
It did break all the records in terrible air and will probably be even stronger when it's back together! Thanks for all the nice words as everyone here appreciates it and we'll be even faster when the air gets better again!

Just the same old ported LS6 castings we've had for quite a while. Jud does have some C5R stuff but it hasn't been done yet it's all regular production ported heads so far for us. If we would have had good air the car would have gone easily 9.40s and probably even faster but we'll get through this hot weather in a few months!

Looks like this motor's replacement will also be LS6 headed but maybe a bit larger in displacement. Jud changes his mind often, though. Who knows, we may see you guys in August with a C5R car that makes over 800 hp at the wheels. Jud's fired up and if there's a shootout in August, we'll be there. Thanks for the encouragement.

I wonder if we'll ever stopped being amazed at how fast the LS1s keep going. Congrats to all involved.
Oh and AdioSS, thanks for just getting to the point in this thread.

I got to see that.. that was hella kewl..
so how do we use the "DA was around 3600 or 3800 feet and the temps were over 100" to convert the times to normal?
I was going hella slow. my clutch is on its last leg. It didnt like grabbing when I launched hard. 13.4@106 (my best so far is a 13.1@108)

Good job. Looks like you guys are getting along good without Kevin and I. Congrats on the times and keep an eye out for us on the Pro Edelbrock Drag Racing Series. We have won several of the events in Open Comp. Not as quick as Jud but 11.30's cam only is not to bad considering 3520 weight.
CONGRATS JUD. I see the tuning is helping.
