I decided to put a lightweight lithium battery in the original location. This saved me a lot of work and money by not having to rewire and putting battery in trunk. This antigravity brand lithium battery (ATX 20 HD $359.99 @Amazon) with hold down and hardware weighs just 6 lbs. I used thin gauge steel purchased at Homedepot and bent it to shape to securely mount battery. It is held down using short stainless sheet metal screws and screwed into OEM plastic tray.
Please use caution about how this battery gets recharged from the alternator. Lithium-ion batteries can catch fire (literally) if recharged in a standard lead-acid battery manner. Run a Google search for lithium battery fires to see what I mean.
This is one of Antigravity's newest designs with BMS (battery monitoring system). The BMS is supposed to balance cells and prevent over charging while charging. One Mustang forum has been using this battery for awhile now. So maybe no fire will happen?

I had one in my fourwheeler. It was great until winter time, it did not want to start in the cold. Theres some sort of warmup procedure. I sold it and went back to a gel battery.
