427 shake down runs........

427 shake down runs........ Pretty good first day at the track. Trap speed seems a little down, but the air was crap.
Best pass was:
60' - 1.381
1/8 et - 6.713
1/8 mph - 99.56
1/4 et - 10.69
1/4 mph - 122.90
The suspension is working great as you can see. Pretty impressed especially since this is a n2o set-up (just motor passes today) and that was off the foot-brake.
Should be good and dialed in for the Thunder Race

Curious to see what the DA was today. It wasn't good I know that. My buddy was 1.5 mph down from his average. Still a little surprised with the mph, thought it would be in the upper 120 range. Have a feeling there is still a bit left in the tune. None the less a good day
I have to say Brian that your car worked awesome today-the air sucked, but it was a good time. I'm really pumped about getting mine figured out, I think we both have a good amount to gain from a few minor changes.

I went with the madman tq arm, afco's in the rear and hal's in the front, and all the other bolt-on suspesion stuff. Running a th400 with a 10" converter. The air fuel is around 12.2 so I think I need to take some more fuel out of it Think I should be able to trap 126-128 even in so-so weather. Just feels a little flat on the top end. Thread Starter
