What's the purpose of the car? What are your goals? If it's more race oriented, I would so a single plane intake, different cam and a custom converter. How much does the car weigh?

I plan on running it on the street and sometimes strip, the motor is going in an 86 SS Monte Carlo so the car weighs about maybe 4000 lbs

I plan on stroking it later on but for now just stock bore, 400 and some change is what I was shooting for, hopefully close to 500, and still be able to run pump gas and be street friendly.

I have the ls3 GMPP CNC heads on my car 408 c.u.
If you are going to stroke it do it now. I gapped my rings for N.A. .017 top .018 bottom and wished I would have gapped them for a power adder. If I were do it again I would go AFR 225 Cathedral ports. I know the big LS3 heads killed my bottom end(3500 lb. Car). For Engine management I would definitely go with Fueltech FT550. Most use HOLLEY EFI. I like the fueltech because of the customer support and ease of tuning and the touch screen / dashboard.

for a street car I would downsize the cam. Especially at 4k lbs. Take 10 degrees out and widen the lsa by a degree or two. Everything else looks good. I'd run a fast lsxrt if you can fit it.

I'd go 4k stall minimum on the converter. A 4L60E is a tenth faster in the 1/4 mile. For longevity a 4L80E.
