Well, I headed off to LACR (altitude = 2710' High Desert) tonight to see what I could gain from last time (13.77 @ 102, no converter), only this time I had my ET Streets (26x10.5x16). Weather at last check was 70', wind S~5mph (I think more like 15), Baro 29.96, Dew point 49', and humidity 47%. Density altitude was at 4157'. I even had my front sway bar connected. First run I had the PSI at 25R and 30L, I eventually lowered it to 18R, 20L. On the first run, I ran a friend (Jacob). I launched hard and he was ~3 cars behind me. On the return lane he pulls next to me and yelling 13 flat. I'm like yeah, I hope so. Pick up the time slip ... Here's how it went.

Runs:
ET @ MPH, 60' (RT)

1st:
13.044 @ 102.930, 1.801 (.467) (stalled to 1000 rpms)
(My friend ran a 13.77 and actually saw my time as he crossed. That's how he knew my time before I picked it up)

2nd:
13.031 @ 103.261, 1.798 (.363) (stalled to 2000 rpms)

3rd:
13.002 @ 103.097, 1.776 (.546) (stalled to 2500 rpms)

4th:
12.973 @ 103.341, 1.741 (.461) (Boo-Yeah!) (stalled to 3000 rpms)

5th:
13.399 @ 103.140, 2.119 (.589) (traction is gone) (stalled to 3200 rpms)

6th:
12.965 @ 103.754, 1.808 (.696) (stalled to 2800 rpms)

7th:
12.897 @ 104.358, 1.792 (.693) (stalled to 2800 rpms)

Needless to say, I need to relearn how to react to the car for those elusive .500 lights Car Launched sooo hard I was red lighting with my usual technique (as you can see).

Congrats George!!

Now take it down to Carlsbad and get low 12's!!
12's are impressive for bolt-on car at LACR.

Thanks Pat! I am guessing .5 second ET reduction in time.

Congrats on your times.

I hear ya about your Hot Rod reacting much quicker and red lighting. It happens to me every time I change my Hot Rod.

Practice will fix the problem.
