Default This weekends racing results.

Saturday night at Lone Star Raceway Park, it wasn't my night. Red lighted in round #1 with a .443. The Hot Rod started to roll in the lights, I stopped her but was in to deep to cut a good light.

I bought back in. #2 round I was trying to keep her from rolling and cut a .556 light and ran a 7.20 with a 1 to the other guys .554 light, 8.08 with a 01. Wow, close race! Oh Well, thats drag racing!

Sunday at TAD, I went to the final again but the Hot Rod was not running very well at all.

In the final I was wondering what to dail. Her times kept falling off every round. I put a 7.25 on the window and went to the line for the final. I launched the Hot Rod and balaaaaaaaa, she just quite pulling. She fell on her face. The car kept running but when I pushed on the gas there was nothing. They pulled me off the track and back to the trailer. I looked the car over(along with about 10 fellow racers) and we could not find the problem. The car would start but nothing would happen when you pushed on the gas. So I reset the computer then the Hot Rod would not start it all.

I think that the fuel pump went out. If it did, it is time for a exturnal high volume pump and steel braided fuel lines.

I need to get her fixed. I have a big bracket race at RCR this coming Saturday. They are running for $1,000.00 to win footbrake class.

PS. I did tree the other guy in the final .535 light to his .597 light.

Hey, No boycotting aloud.

I will take some pics this weekend. I just got a digatel camera and I need to try it out.

Now this depends if the Hot Rod is fixed or not. Iam sure it will be.

Iam sure that someone at my school can post them up for me.

Sorry for the delay.

I'm boycotting you since you did not post pics of your 30" slicks.

Thanks, Larry

I think that we have found the problem with the Hot Rod.

I will post up when we know for sure.

Congrats on the final round appearance! It's tough to go rounds when the car isn't being predictable at all. Thats when those practice tree hits really pay off

Good luck this week!

Good job on the final round.
I have the same problem with rollout, so I am going to get the Hurst line lock, and wire it to a dead mans switch on the steeing colunm, so when I launch all I have to do is let go and launch. Along with the Harlan 2 step this should be a good combo and help my consistancy.

mykdriver,

That is cool but in footbrake or mod class you can't do that. No Electronics at all except a linelock for the burnout.

Reaction time and consistency is everything in bracket racing.

It kills me to a good car crap out just when it really counts. I know you'll be back racing.

With the 3 day weekend coming up, I would assume you will be a busy man
