Default m&h drag radial vs mt drag radial

i was wondering if anyone in here has had any experience at all with the new drag radials from m&h racemasters or mickey thompsons drag radial. which one is better? do they outperform the traditional drag radials that we all have used so far? (nitto, bf goodrich) i am looking to buy a set of drag radials for my pro stars and i saw that these two manufacturers have put out their drag radials. i am very skeptical about buying them because i think they are both the type of drag radials that only last about 8k miles if that.

I am thinking about trying the M&H 275/50R17 . They should last longer than the BFG's and look like they should out hook them because you have more sidewall to flex than the lower profile Nitto or BFG 17".
