I sure hope so, I bought them!
I am going down to Cali this weekend to pick them up.
See you on the 13th Terry!
Ryan K.
I mightve gotten alittle bit ahead of myself in believing I could run 10's at this weight,no one has done it to date....
I would say it;ll be 3500 on the dot come Oct
So truthfully Terry, what should a 430RWHP setup run at 3500lbs in MINUS 500 ft of air?

The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
I am curious because I went from a 3.73 ten bolt to a 4.11 geared 12 bolt. I didnt do back to back dyno comparos so I am interested if that is what you saw.

<strong>

Cheers,
Chris
Results were 431.2/396.2RWTQ..
I dont know where u got the 448 number?
My BEST dyno number was 441/400 threw a 10-bolt/3.73 and no PS belt/Cutout...
I lost 9.8RWHP/3.8RWTQ from the gears/12-bolt/PS back on the car.
I've been racing the car with PS HOOKED UP for a while..

Chicago's fastest HCI, A4, gear, full exhaust car has run 11.32@119.75mph at RT66, at 1000 DA. ARE 226/112 cam, TP4400, 4.10's and 16" ET Streets... Weight reduction is Hawker battery, and no front swaybar. Weight guesstimation (car has a 12 bolt) is 3600.
Car has LS1 heads too.
Seems to me your car is not dialed in because with your mods at 3500 raceweight you should run 11.0-11.2 right now. With those heads I'd think you'd run 120-121mph right now.
I had the superstroker turd but in my case it was bad tuning and the car was running at 15:1 AF and that's why the car would not MPH.
I don't like Terry's internet persona because he tried to hard to get a rise out of folks, and he'll go after everyone irrespective of how they comport themselves on the boards. But he has changed a buttload of stuff and his car is fast.
I've had a VIG in my car the WHOLE time except for the brief moment that I tried a UT4600 which was WAY too loose for even me.I never even ran the car with it because it was insane to even drive the car...
1st off John,I'm only flashing to 4100,2nd the car is shifting at 6800 but dropping back to 5100 which is HORRIBLE!!!On the 2nd shift its the same thing,6700 upshift and back to 5200....
I've talked to more than a few drag racers here in PA and they all told me the same thing,1200rpm drop on the gear change is the most I wanna see for a setup like mine...
Julio even commented on my drop in RPM and he said,TRY THE TP4500....
Raughammer kept telling me the VIG wouldnt 60ft with a YANK and he was right,I have had only (2)SUB 1.4X's outta the VIG.Most of my 60ft's have been right around 1.55/1.57.PatrickG also emailed me and said,"Get a TP4500 in the car."Patrick also went on to say it will upshift no lower than 5600 and that it will produce more HP/TQ,a better 60ft/MPH than my VIG....
I looked at an old unlocked dyno sheet of my VIG,
I'm losing 31RW.My TP4500 lost 18RW.IMO thats a pretty big loss.....
Truthfully John, I agree with u,My 3500lb car should be running consistant 11.30@120 in 1000ft DA's,bottem line it hasnt.I have a hunch I know whats wrong but until I actually check it next week I wont know for sure.
One change at a time is the way I'm gonna handle the setup now John.I have the susp. setup perfect and the trans is working great.I'm gonna try the Yank next week and then re-run the car. Then I will check what I think is wrong with the car and re-run it again.
I'll get it corrected John....
That u can count on <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Terry's not 3500-3600 raceweight, he's more like 3200 raceweight so right off that the bat he's got 3 tenths lower et in the can...
I thought Yank is restalling your converter.
Looking forward to hearing how the converter change works.

I should be right at 11.15/11.25 consistantly..
Hopefully I'll get there once my TP4500 gets here and I check what I think is the problem..
Chris your right,I shouldve kept my Yank
I guess I was hard headed <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />
