Heads & Cam Runs At 5000ft DA!!
Do to the number of people, and the wait to get through the gate we were only able to get 2 passes last night The only na pass we made was a 12.1@119.x The vette spun pretty hard, then passed the 60' it bogged, so I know 11.8s should have been no problem with more practice.
For pass #2 we decided to spray the TNT 100 shot with about 1000-1050 psi of bottle pressure. I set the window to not spray until 3800rpm so it would have somewhat of a rolling chance, for the most part that worked & the vette ripped a 1.6x short time!! The stock fuel pump was definately not liking the nitrous to much, as it was missing up top so I had to short shift every gear pretty bad The lady at the timeslip booth handed me the slip and I about crapped my pants right there! 10.80@130!! Nothing wrong with them apples!
Altitude corrected thats a easy 11.40 or so NA <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> Thats a strong Heads & Cam Car <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> Still haven't bought gears for it, and its still running a C5 tranny instead of the Z06 tranny <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Well now I know the car makes the power that I was hoping it would, so now back to the fuel drawing board. We will be installing a Racetronics/Walbro fuel pump this week & dynoing the setup next weekend in Dallas @ LG. Here is a rundown of the specs from the car.

The FU-2 camshaft is a 228/228 .588"/.588" 111.5 lsa, Jason came up with the specs. and it does real well. I've got another project that this cam may be going in also, but it will have valve-reliefed pistons also.

The FU-2 does have 584 lift, but there is also a FU-1 with XE lobes on the exhaust side for stock piston cars <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> Look for dyno numbers next week <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
