I'll try to return it (I had it for about a month), though it's probably not going to work... ..but even at 15% restocking fee it'd still be a good deal... ...great article.

Have anybody tried jump-starting dynabatt? I accidentally left the fan switch on yesterday, and today it's dead.
I try to jump-start first from my old battery, then from my neighbor's truck, - didn't go, tr-tr-tr-tr sound, like it wants to starts, but cannot, we gave it a few minutes, hoping it would recharge - no luck, then we disconnected jumper cable and tried to push-start it - nothing. That is, not even lights come up. So apparently the battery is 100% dead.
Article says recharging at constant voltage should be fine - ? If anybody can help me here... - I don't have no special charger, so I'm not sure what to do right now...

Re: Lightweight Battery Do any single turbo ls1 guys use this batt? I'm afraid the turbo and piping will create so much heat in the engine compartment that the batt's life would suffer. Has anyone built a heat shield? I heard these batteries can't handle much heat. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Re: Lightweight Battery Just FYI guys, my car has always had an issue with low battery and trip meter etc zeroing out,,,,I now have a hawker and it does it even when I have had a battery tender on it all week. Not on the first crank but 4-5 ranks later it will still zero trip meter. No biggie but thought I would mention.
