What are you doing with your car and how "wild" is your build?

8.50 index and not that pretty wild of a build.

The terminator X would probably be just fine. Are you familiar with either ECU, have tuner in mind, etc? The terminator is somewhat limited on inputs and outputs but plenty of guys go really fast with them.

Go with whichever your tuner is most comfortable with then.

Ask your tuner that you plan on using to see what they like as that will make a bigger difference.

Myself I prefer the Haltech vs the Holley as it's more reliable and it's nice to be able to talk to a person on the other end of the phone that actually knows what they are doing for real technical support. Shouldn't this be posted in the PCM and Tuning section?

I'm not familiar at all with the Haltech, as far as the terminator x the big "limitations" are you only have 4 inputs and outputs and can only use high impedance injectors. If you could give some actual detail to the questions asked it would help in pointing you in the right direction.
https://www.holley.com/products/fuel...uel_injection/ scroll down and there's a good chart listing out the capabilities of all the holley ECU's.
