11.99@119.31 1.70 spun thru three gears
11.19@118.74 1.57 let off early
11.18@122.05 1.56

1) 1-2 shift hits rev limiter, not bad but taps it or taps it twice
2)1-2 shift is nosing over, 6900, going to change to 6500 or 6600
3) Was deadhooking 1.56-1.57 I really think I need more stall
4) Friend cut a 1.53 with more stall than me but I ran like 3 more mph at the 1/8th and 1/4.
5) Stock lower airbox, no air filter
6) 28x10.5x15 Hoosiers at 14psi cold
7) QA1's at 1/1 or 2/2 front, and rears at 4/4 and then 3/3. I think car squats too much and will try 6/6 next time and really play around with shocks, did highest wheelstands ever for me
8) 3475-3500 raceweight

G, I am thinking:
FTRA, hawker battery, and lower 1-2 shiftpoint, you like the FTRA?

Hey John

The FTRA is definately a great mod. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> If you don't have the FRA mod either then you'll notice a <img src="http://64.127.132.31/BIG.jpg" alt=" - " /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> difference going straight to the FTRA. I would think about putting a filter in there though. Once you do the FTRA the amount of debris that makes it to the air filter is crazy. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

I agree that your shift points should come down a little if your making peak TQ/HP at 4200/5500, 6900 is too high. While 5500 seems a little low for peak Hp most big cube motors don't seem to be making peak power much higher than that, 6200 maybe.

Shift points lower, bigger stall, and FTRA should help alot. The next thing I would look at is suspension. If your raising the tires and sitting there your wasting time. <img border="0" alt="[judgement]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_judge.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Take that puppy to a scale and if the first number on your weight ticket is a "3" than start ripping stuff out. <img border="0" alt="[devil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />

John

Keep at it John, you'll get it figured out. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
