Another Thunder Shootout post
I'm not sure if I'll just stay Friday night, or Friday and Saturday.

(sorry, already sharing a room!)
We called the hotel Friday and got a room for Friday and Saturday. Sorry, I am also sharing a room. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
You have to come to the Shootout and you have to stay Saturday night. There will be one hell of a party Staurday night after the racing. <img border="0" alt="[devil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />
Iam sure we can find someone to share a room with ya. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />

If you can't find anywhere to stay, you can stay with Tracy and me. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />
No need to sleep in your truck. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

16-hour drive from Dayton, OH. If I could rent a 2-car trailer and an RV, I could come down with a friend and split the driving. I can prolly borrow a trailer, but driving that far by myself would be a PITA!

The rules for the bracket race are sort of fuzzy... Are electronics allowed?
<strong>George delay boxes etc.. are not allowed in the bracket race.... Foot brake only.</strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Well, this is getting off-topic now, but...
I will have to have my delay box in the car for the heads-up class I'll be running (P/S), since it controls my transbrake.
Will I be able to get by in the bracket race if I'm not using the box/brake? It will be impossible for me to remove/reinstall everything between rounds of two different classes. I could disconnect the transbrake solenoid, which would render all of the electronics useless, but that would still be a PITA to get underneath the car to connect/disconnect the solenoid.
I could leave the box powered off for the bracket race, and have an official at the starting line verify it, or have someone watch to make sure I leave with both hands on the steering wheel.
If it's going to be too much trouble, I'll just not run the bracket event. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

If they can't see both hands on the steering wheel when you leave the starting line you're automatically disqualified.
