Default Blew up the motor!!

First time to the track since Thunder last year. It was running great. I ended up running the 10 sec index classs, which was my first mistake. I had to let out of it to keep from breaking out. When I let out of it, braked a little, then got back into it (because he was catching up) that's when she let loose. I see a hole in the side of the block, passenger side.

The I should have had the nitrous hooked to a switch that I could control, and I should have just test & tuned, running it out. To top it off, the guy red lighted, and I was too busy watch him instead of the lights.

I have other priorities, so I wont be racing for awhile. Maybe I'll put a stock block together, just to cruise around in.

**** happens.

Damn that sucks man Getting off and on the spray is bad news (as you already know)

Man, that's brutal. Didn't you break the engine in a bit before racing it? Horror show. Big buck$.

Thanks for the video Steve. I'll let you know if I need help. You've been real good at answering all my questions, no matter how simple

Still thinking of what to do. Dont want to hang it up for the year, but not alot of options.

I'm still trying to find out why the nitrous seemed to not kick in until 2nd gear. I'm thinking that it was driving right through the convertor.

Still ran a 9.91@132, shifting 1st to 2nd early, and letting out of early to not break out.

Did anyone else notice the wheels pulling off the ground when I hit 2nd? If you slow it down, you see it.

That's the reason why I don't think you're blowing through the converter at all and actually spraying starting in second.
