Default trying to choose k member: fitment and weight savings?

I'm looking into buying a bmr k member along with the tubular a arms...

What K members have you guys tried?

How do these K members fit and what was your actual weight savings?

Thanks
Conrad

I also have the BMR. It fit nicely. I didn't weigh them but I think it's around 30lbs and frees up a ton of space.

I did say crap, and i'll say it again. hehe
My BMR k-mem, a-arms has been in for about 20k miles with no trouble. The hardest part was re making the brake lines. you can reuse the stock ones but it doesnt look as nice.

I am looking at placnig an order with bmr as well. But, my mechanic said that he prefers to use Anthony Jones k member. But, I am not at all familiar with Anthony Jones' work.

Any one have the BMR Track Pak? I am thinking about getting torque arm and drive shaft safety loop package for better handling on my launches. Any thoughts?

I hear the upper BMR A-arms are actually a bit heavier than stock.

200 pounds?????????????????????????
you have a hood and fenders still?
My bmr took out about 50 lbs then the hals are about 4 pounds each. unless you mean breaks to, those again are worth 50+ pounds.

If i recall that is what AJE is stating. yes i am referring to removing all stock steering and break stuff and replacing it with all the AJE stuff. Only thing left factory on my car is the frame rails upfront.. other then that its ALL aftermarket

They are exactly the same weight. I do have them but I got them as a present. They do have poly bushings though. It is a bit stiffer.

Outlaw, I have tried for quite some time to get ahold of AJE, whats the secret? I was told the same thing, about the weight savings and thought it would be nice, but if I cant get a reply when I ask what all I need to order and to whom to send it too, sorry, no deal. Maybe I have been using the wrong email address for them, off their site, but really was interested in it. How do you like it, easy install? Fitment etc??

I just called them, AJE is a sponsor of the PSCA and helps alot of people out so I figured they would be great to work with and I was right. Everything I talked about with AJE I got and ontime.

Alot of the stock stuff is made for heavy street use (banging into curbs/people who ride breaks at 65 on the freeway..etc) The AJE stuff is made for racing or people who take care and pay attention to how they drive. All of the stuff I got fit live a glove and was all made from C/M tube that is very light. It took me 1 hour to install the complete front end once I had the factory stuff out of the way. Hope that helps..
