Default are these Granatelli lowering springs hurting me that much?

i have a set of Granatelli springs i bought way back in like 99 or 2000 and i am pulling 1.64 on a pretty decent track right now but i dont even pull a wheel. i run the big 28x9 and 4.56 gears and launch in the 6600-6700 rpm area with 385 RWHP. i have seen guys with stock suspension pull the wheels with 1.72 times on stock springs. i have all the usual BMR suspension goodies. the videos show the rear barely squats down and the front will not lift. i dont know why i am not in the 1.59-.60 area. is it the springs? should i go to stockers? i am all about drag racing with my big and littles on all the time. also should i waste my time with a different set of springs? eibach? or just stick with stock. i cant afford a set of coilover Hals or something like that

I HIGHTLY doubt it. The Granatelli's are only a 1.25 drop in the back. I ran those springs for 2 yrs and ran awesome with them at the track.

1.8 60's with stock 3:42's, bfg's, and stock slipping clutch FWIW, on those springs....
