What A Difference Tires Can make! Ok, to make this as short as possible. My observations so far FWIW. Check this out.
Best 60'times:
ET Streets 26X11.5X16(25 passes)Best 1.56 @17psi
HoosierQTP 26X11.5X15(20 passes 1.72 @14psi <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />
Hoosierqtp 27X11.5X15(7 passes)1.470 @19psi <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
best ET street(1.56) and 1st set of Hoosiers(1.72) same day same track. I was certainly disappointed in the Hoosiers.
FWIW.
The 2nd set are making me a believer again.

Re: What A Difference Tires Can make! Why not try a true slick? I've had much better luck with my 28x10.5 ET Drags than I ever had with ET Streets.
I'm surprised at the difference you found between the two different Hoosiers on your car. I wouldn't expect to see so much improvement from just one more inch in diameter.
