The 2003 COBRAs Are Starting To Show Their Potential
Not too shabby for a fully loaded 3600 pound pig with stock tires and only 4 modifications.
With weight reduction, cooler air, an off-road H-pipe, stickier tires, and a better ring and pinion, high 10's and low 11's should be in the near future.

Its just like a supra. Their gonna make mad power. but instead waiting for a turbo to spool up they got a blower so thereis no lag with the power. perfect for drag racing

Jahel, you have a supercharged Cobra, how come your Cobra isn't showing us any "potential"?
Time to trade it in?

The motor is a nice setup but is stuck behind a pig of a car. My statement was pointing out that having the motor run a good time in a lighter car shows nothing about the original car's potential!
Most of the 03's around here are driven by C5 wannabee guys who drive like it's a Thunderbird.

-Tony

I'm very pleased with my car, Tony. 450 HP and 400 foot-pounds at the crank are enough to bring a smile to my face every time I stomp on the gas pedal. All this on only 6 pounds of boost, an off-road H-pipe, and a stock bottom end that has taken a lot of abuse. The car hasn't been to the track yet since the blower install, but with drag radials and good weather this fall, I am hoping for 11.9's @ 116.
I wouldn't trade my car in for anything right now. A forged engine will be in store within the next year to handle more boost. My goal is to run low 11's @ 120+ on 12 pounds.
What's the news on your new motor?
