made 27 runs today!!!!!
Anyway, my times are pathetic. The best I have been able to run in the last 2 weekends has been right at 13.5 (not 15.0 - sorry) at almost 105mph. My 60s suck big time I can pull about 2.18s or so at best on Firehawk tires. The problem is if I go down below 30psi the car goes sideways on the 1-2 shift. I am also pretty sure my clutch is toast, especially after today...haha. Oh well, need a 12 bolt and a new clutch - then we'll have some fun.

Sorry guys, meant to say 13.5...man 15.0 is really really really bad. Its a 2000 Firehawk with lid and STB and GMMG catback. OH yeah, I have a 160thermo and a fan switch. Not many mods and not much traction.
Oh yeah, started out the night with a half tank of gas (actually ran better times with that than running on empty). Also, didn't have any weight taken out of the car, not even the spare tire and jack - wasn't at home - so I know there was a little loss there. I was shifting at around 6000. Trying to hit it without hitting the revlimiter. I hit the revlimiter once and really didn't want to do that again. The car was defenitely running well on the top end because after crappy reaction times and terrible 60' times the car was chasing down some relatively fast competition - a guy running a first gen camaro that was running 13.2ish with a 1.8 60'. I know the reaction times don't have a thing to do with anything but as I said, I was catching up to some people that were running around a 13.
My guess is the clutch is slipping bad, as well as not having jack for traction - either the track or my fault - undobutedly mine.
The temp wasn't to bad - probably mid to upper 70s. It is just weird because I couldn't even hit below a 13.5 with my best 60'. I swear there is a limiter there -- haha. (and yes, tcs was disabled). Just wanted to see what you guys thoughts. Thanks for the opinions.
