Went out to Sealy Saturday with Madman(Brian), Josey and Cody. We had a great time. It was really cool to have 4 Hot Rods from Madmans shop at the same track at the same time.

We were just trying to tune in my sus. We just ran test & tune. I ran a 7.14, 7.14, 7.13 7.12 and 7.11 and 7.11. My reaction time were killer. .523,.512,.508,.510,.501 and a .512. All in all it was a good night. The only bad thing was I cut a slick. We had a slow leak. We put in some fix-a-flat and slowed it down.

Sunday at TAD was great. I won! 8 rounds of racing. Man, the tongue of my Hot Rod was hanging out badly. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

The ETs were not up to par but my driving on the top end was pretty good. I contribute the sub par performance to the bad slick.(I have 117 runs on them since Aug. 11th) It was leaking out fix-a flat in the staging lanes during time trails. We put in a plug before the 1st round and it worked for the rest of the day.

Madman is ordering a new set of slick today and now it is time to get ready for the bracket finals next weekend and the Thunder Shootout in 3 weeks. <img border="0" alt="[devil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />

Thanks to Thunder Racing for the killer motor. I have beat on this thing all racing season with no problems what so ever.(254 or so passes). You guys are the best. <img border="0" alt="[hail]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" />

Special note, Iam ready for the bracket race at the Thunder Shootout. Are you? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Your consistancy with an M6 is PHENOMENAL! Any time someone says anything about M6's being inconsistant all we have to do is bring up "Coach" to shut them up <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />

 

Hey now BHB, I've illustrated M6 precision and consistency multiple times myself! Yes, it can be done, and Coach is doing it awesome! If I had a running car, I might be able to participate <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

Tony I didn't forget about you <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> You were one of the first to show off the how consistant you are with an M6 by winning all those bracket races at HRP back in the day <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> I remember when you were stuck at 11.08 forever it seemed like, you posted about how it sucks being so consistant at times and how you were tired of that number lol.

BUT..... Coach does go to Numerous tracks EVERY weekend, that is what I call hard core!

My car has been running running fairly well lately, Im going to be ordering a RevLok II here in about two weeks (have you had the SAME clutch this entire season?)

I ran a heads/cam mustang this weekend and he pulled me about 1 out of the hole but I couldnt catch up we just stayed even the entire run <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> I guess having a passenger, full tank of gas, the muffler on, and my toolboxes in the trunk might be why lol

Yes it is nice to see other "Actual bracket racers" on this board. I also am doing fairly well with an M6. I was 2nd overall in our Car Club Challenge drag racing seires, in this my first season drag racing ever!

Iam not into just running one fast time and say I have one of the fastest LS1.
