HAHA The only GM available at the airport is a Chevy Cavalier. I think i'll just spectate.

Now she has a 99 Ram-Air Forumla and she will be bracket racing at the Shootout
Oh, I still want to take you up on looking at that roof if we can find the time
Just about 3 weeks from tomorrow we'll be getting this thing rolling...it's getting exciting, don't ya think???

We arrive in New Orleans at 10:56 AM Friday. Rent a car and drive up to the hotel and we should arrive around 2 or 3 pm.

Angie

LMAO Angie, I actually raced my wifes chevy tracker last year. I didn't do real well cause I wasn't used to all the POWER. Could I really race a cavalier? I would hate to embarrass the COACH and win the over all bracket race with a cavalier lol
How about looking at the roof Sunday afternoon the 3rd. Will that be soon enough? I must return my racecar to the airport at 4 pm or so the 4th. We fly home at 6:10 pm monday the 4th. My wife and I want to check out New Orleans Monday morning. My wife has been there, I have not.
I have been to Shreveport though, I was there to, guess what, look at a shopping plaza roof. We actually got that job. Go figure. Didn't make any money but sure did get a good tan, You probably know which plaza it is. Its the one with all the stained ceiling tile lol j/k
Tim, thanks for the info man. 45 minutes don't sound bad at all.
Edgar, N20 on a cavalier? lol. Man that would be cool. I haven't raced in sooo long that sounds SCARRY

Not going I pulled my trans this week for a converter change and found the bell housing cracked from the wheel stand.

Mikey, you may want to just put a JW Ultra-Bell on your existing tranny. You won't break it, and it's also an SFI approved flywheel shield.
Mikey, hope you can get it together by then, let me know, the guest room in the east wing is still available.
Where is the gathering Friday night? Everyone is kind of spread out at different hotels.
Mikey, You can borrow my Hoosier Slicks 28" X 10" X 15". I would even take them out to you. Would you use the 15" X 10" WELD draglites too? If so, they are mounted. If not I will take them off the rims for you. Let me know. Hope you can make it.

Suppose I could bracket race if I really had to, though.
Greg
p.s. Outside of not fitting in a class well, this looks like a great event. I do know that you cannot please everyone.
