Thunder Shootout- who is going???? Just want to know who is going. Its getting close and the sign up sheets are looking a little light. I dont know if everyone thats signed up is on there but im starting to get worried. We have known about this race for months. There should be no excuses. With all the "fast cars" I see on the internet it would suck if there wasnt a good turn out <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> . The money is good, Thunder Racing is doing alot to get this thing going so lets make it happen. I hope to see a good turn out. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />

TY TECH RACING 396</strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Stefan, I am hearing of many, many people planning to attend who have not pre-registered. It's not necessary to pre-register, though it does get you in the gate quicker on Saturday morning (hint, hint!!) Also, people will be able to register and tech-in Friday night (see my other post) to make things run smoother on Saturday morning.
NOTE: Even if people don't want to pay up front, you can still sign up on the web page so that your name will appear on the list and it will give us a better idea of how the classes are filling out. You can pay at the gate on Saturday, or at our pre-tech session on Friday night.

Provided the next couple weeks go good at the track, then I will be there! Im planning on it.

Re: Thunder Shootout- who is going???? We've got a bunch of interesting cars from Chitown that plan to make the 20 hour ride Stefan. I'm bringing my car if it runs good at a local MFBA 19th track rental because the way I figure it some folks will break and there's always a chance. When my car runs it runs like a bracket car. Hopefull we can find my missing top end MPH between now and the 19th.

Re: Thunder Shootout- who is going???? I'll be flying in as well to spectate. Its too far for me to drive up from Ft Lauderdale for the weekend. I really want to run, but my car is not up to snuff right now. Too many little things I need to take care of.

Anyway, back to the topic. The Shootout is going to be AWESOME. We arrive in New Orleans at 10:56 AM Friday. Rent a car and drive up to the hotel and we should arrive around 2 or 3 pm.
